Every Closed Door Is Guiding Me Toward a Better One That’s Already Opening
Life has closed some major doors on me before. At the time, each one felt final, like the end of something I thought I couldn’t live without. And yet, each time, that so-called ending became the beginning of something I never imagined.
Now, another door has closed. I’ve lost my job, and the uncertainty is real. I need to figure something out quickly. On the surface, it feels heavy—like a dead end. But deep down, I believe this isn’t the end of the story. I believe the universe is leading me somewhere better.
Not long ago, I dreamed of baby peacocks forming a circle around me, needing me to be their caretaker. That dream planted the seed for the Slightly Mystical Dream Journal, and it reminded me that my subconscious (and perhaps the universe itself) is always sending signs. Even now, I hold onto that dream as proof that guidance is all around me, even in moments of loss.
That’s why this affirmation speaks so deeply to me right now:
“Every closed door is guiding me toward a better one that’s already opening.”
I don’t know what the new door looks like yet. But I do know this: I am choosing faith over fear.
🌙 Closing Thought
Right now, I don’t have all the answers. But I have faith—and sometimes that’s enough. If you’re standing at a closed door too, maybe we can walk this hallway together, trusting that the light is already spilling through the cracks of the next opening.
